BCHHS has for many years sponsored the Senior Wish Tree, partnering with several agencies such as Meals On Wheels, Council On Aging, ResCare, Asheville Housing Authority, RHA Health Services, and Premier Home Health. These agencies submit names of seniors and adults with disabilities who will be alone during the holiday season. This year we filled over 140 names of seniors and adults with disabilities Christmas wishes. We are thankful for the people who choose names and filled the wishes.
An especially generous business, Genova Diagnostics, for the past several years has chosen up to 50 names and filled each wish. We are forever grateful for their generosity.
