Quarterly Financial Reports:
Quarterly financial reports give snapshots of the County’s financial status throughout the year. These reports include General Fund budget versus actual with year-end projections, a summary of major revenue sources, current Net County Cost projections, a fund balance analysis, as well as information on debt and investments.
Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR):
The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), or Annual Audit Report is a detailed report of the County’s actual revenues and expenditures for the fiscal year. Historical information can be found on the County's Public Records website.

Citizens’ Financial Report:
The Citizens’ Financial Report (formally referred to as the Popular Annual Finance Report, or PAFR) is an overview of Buncombe County government. The Citizen’s Financial Report includes our goals and plans for the future, as well as information about how tax dollars are used.
Annual Financial Information Report (AFIR):
The AFIR is used by every county and municipality in NC. It collects revenue and expenditure information on an annual basis. To access the County's AFIR, please visit the NC Treasurer's Local Fiscal Management tool.
