Recipe of the Week - Cornbread Stuffing

Cornbread Stuffing

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 2 stalks of celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 pepper
  • 3/4 cup water 
  • 16 oz bag cornbread cubes

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet. Add onions and celery over medium heat until tender, about 6 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat and stir in cornbread bread cubes, milk, water and eggs.
  4. Place the stuffing in a buttered casserole dish and bake at 325°F for 30 to 35 minutes.
