This slide show is photos of a normal license check being conducted in one of our county neighborhoods. These checks are conducted routinely to show officer presence in neighborhoods and to verify that drivers are in compliance, and neighborhoods are safe. Normally these checkpoints will be done in areas that have some incidence of citizen complaints for actions going on within that neighborhood or area of the county. Checkpoints are also an excellent way for citizens to see law enforcement involvement in their neighborhoods.
