Ensuring Quality of Life Through Advance Care Planning

"I know, in my heart, that this is not the life that she imagined for herself. Unfortunately, we will never know what her wishes for herself would have been. We never had the conversation."

Please join us on Wednesday, April 17 at Pack Memorial Library from 10:30 a.m. -12 noon for a presentation and Q & A on ensuring quality of life through advance care planning

Advance Care Planning is the process of deciding the kind of health care you want during a medical crisis or at the end of life. With planning, individuals, families and caretakers are able to know how you wish to be treated in a medical crisis.

Speakers from MAHEC’s Center for Healthy Aging, Buncombe Council on Aging and other members of the WNC Advance Care Planning Community Initiative will share information and help you begin the process

This is a free program and everyone is invited. Please register by calling Jennifer Stuart at 828-257-4449 or emailing jennifer.stuart@mahec.net.
