The Council on Aging, in conjunction with the Seniors Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP), will offer a free class called “Medicare Update 2015” on December 3 from 2 - p.m. at OnTrack WNC, 50 S French Broad Ave., Asheville, NC 28801. Registration is required. Call OnTrack WNC at 255-5166.
The class will explain what’s new for 2015, how Medicare works, the enrollment process, how to avoid penalties, and ways that beneficiaries might save money.
