The Department of Emergency Services of Buncombe County takes pride in serving the needs of the citizens and visitors of our county. Our many roles include:
- Emergency communications via our 911 call center
- Pre-hospital emergency care from our paramedic EMS service
- Fire and life safety from the fire marshal's office
- Disaster coordination in the emergency management division
