From October 31st through November 5th, a near relative can present themselves at the Board of Elections and request an absentee ballot on behalf of an eligible voter who is sick or disabled.
A near relative is a spouse, brother, sister, parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, stepparent, step child or legal guardian.
Their voted ballot must be returned no later than 5 p.m. on November 5th, 2012.
If returned by mail, your ballot must be postmarked no later than November 6th and received by the County Board of Elections no later than November 9th, 2012
