Our parent counselors can assist you in locating care
for your child. They can also answer questions and
concerns you may have about child care in general,
and what to look for in choosing a quality program.

250-6700. Our office and phone line is open at the
following times: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
8:00am - 5:00pm, Tuesday and Thursday 8:00am - 6:00pm If you would like to request further information
about locating or choosing quality child care, please
complete the "Request
for Quality Child Care Information" form,
and a parent counselor will contact you the next
business day.
NOTE: Buncombe County Child Care Services Child Care
Resource & Referral provides REFERRALS rather than
RECOMMENDATIONS. We do not investigate or assure the
quality of the services provided by the listed Child
Care Providers.

Click on Search for Child Care in the upper left corner,
fill in the County, and click the submit button.
If you have concerns about a child care provider, we
can help direct you to the appropriate authorities.
Parents may call Buncombe County Child Care Services
and speak to a Parent Counselor on the phone, or may
come into the office to speak to a Parent Counselor
in person.
