Did you know that we accept prepayments on your taxes?
We have taxpayers each year who start making monthly payments before they receive their tax bill. If you choose to do this, please be sure to write your PIN number or account number on your check along with the words prepayment. Once you receive your bill you can continue the monthly payments until the bill is paid by January 5th. This is a good way to budget and make sure your taxes are paid before they become past due.
Mail your payment to the Buncombe County Tax Collector, Room 320, 60 Court Plaza, Asheville NC 28801-3572 or drop it in our convenient drive-up drop box located at the Buncombe County Health Center.
