Are you interested in prepaying your taxes?
Many taxpayers choose to make monthly payments towards their tax due before they receive their tax bill. If you would like to prepay your taxes simply write your PIN or account number on your check along with "Prepayment" on the memo line. Once you receive your bill you can continue your monthly payments until the bill is paid in full. To avoid interest on your bill, make sure it is paid in full before it becomes past due on January 6th.
Mail your prepayments to the Buncombe County Tax Collector, 94 Coxe Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801 or drop it in one of our drop boxes located at 35 Woodfin Street and 94 Coxe Avenue. If you have any questions about prepayment options call (828) 250-4910.
