The Colburn Earth Science Museum in Asheville isn't just a fantastic destination to take your kids, they also partner with UNCA to offer a great summer camp with different themes every week! The camps take place Monday - Friday from 9AM - 5PM every week
- Week of July 11th
- Wet 'n Wild Ecology
- Tromp around Reed's Creek while exploring the world of microinvertebrates. Learn about food webs, design your own habitat, use scientific equipment, and much more!
- Week of July 18th
- Take Flight Physics
- Explore the world of astronomy, physics, and flight. Learn about the cosmos and what makes flight possible with hands-on activities.
- Week of July 25th
- Enter the Geosphere
- This is your chance to be a rock hound. Delve into the world of geology and geography. Learn how to use scientific equipment to study our earth, discover treasure, and explore the geology around us.
