Drug & Weapon Seizures

This slide show is actual pictures of contraband that our officers have confiscated during search warrant service. There would have been an issue that created “reasonable doubt” that an illegal activity had taken place. This would have led to an investigation and this investigation would have produced “probable cause” to believe that there were illegal activities or items of contraband located at this address. The investigators would write a “search warrant” and actually go visually inspect and check this address. Items were found and confiscated and owners of the contraband were charged with criminal charges resultant to these activities, and possession of these items. Searches and Seizures are an intricate part of normal investigations into criminal activity. Our investigators are involved in issues like these every day. This is just another normal activity required to keep Buncombe County the safe and great place to live that it is.
