On September 27, 2005 the Buncombe County Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing the electronic posting of advertisements for piggybacking and surplus auctions on the County website in lieu of publishing legal notices in local newspapers. This resolution is backed up by North Carolina General Statute 143-129(g) as amended.

Contract for Office Supplies to the County of Buncombe

All bids are due by 3:00 p.m. o’clock May 20, 2008, and should be submitted electronically through the Buncombe County electronic bidding system.  The system can be accessed at:  BuncombeCounty.org/governing/depts/Purchasing/vendorReg.asp 

Received bids will be opened at 9:00 a.m., May 21, 2008.  Buncombe County reserves the right to postpone the bid opening.
