Stormwater Management Staff

 

Stormwater Technician

Larry GloverLarry Glover is the newly hired stormwater technician for the county. Larry is a seasoned local government employee having worked for the water department and the planning department in a neighboring county for 16 years.

Larry will be responsible for project inspections, investigating complaints, project closeout, enforcement activities and annual site inspections.

Stormwater Administrator

Mike GoodsonMike Goodson is the stormwater administrator for the county. Mike comes to the county with 15 years of experience with the NC Department of Environment and Natural Resources as Assistant Regional Engineer in the Land Quality Section. Mike also helped begin the county’s erosion control program from 1988 to 1992.

Duties of the administrator include program administration, technical review of plans, enforcement, and outreach to the private and professional community, interaction with other county, local and state government offices.

Mike is a Professional Engineer and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control.
