Rental Information
The following is information regarding rental of certain
facilities maintained by Buncombe County Parks & Recreation
Services.
The Buncombe County Sports
Complex features seven (7) soccer fields, a walking trail,
volleyball court, playground, concession stand and restrooms.
The park is open seven days a week from 8 am - 9 pm. The following
is available on a rental basis:
- Shelter - $15 hour or $50 per day
- Soccer field rental - $25 per hour per field for youth
or $35 per hour per field for adults (The field can only
be used for soccer play)
Enjoy family reunions, outdoor meetings, birthday parties,
or any type of outdoor events at a Lake Julian Picnic shelter. These shelters can accommodate both individual
families and large groups. Two large picnic shelters can accommodate
approximately 75 people and three small picnic shelters can
each seat approximately 25-35 people. Reservations must be
made for the use of these shelters and a rental fee is charged.
Each shelter features an abundant number of picnic tables.
Be sure and take advantage of the available recreational resources
at Lake Julian:
- Playground for children
- Paddle boats available for rent
- Fishing
- Jon boats available for rent
- Volleyball court (sand)
Rental fee:
- Large shelter $50
- Small shelter $35

(* Please note that single picnic tables are available throughout
the park on a first come basis. These single tables are free
of charge.)
Zeugner Center has several items for rent. Host
a birthday party by renting the activity room for $35 per
hour or have a get-together in the pool for $50 per hour.
Zeugner Center also has a downstairs activity room available
for rent for $15 per hour. Please call (828) 684-5072.
Buncombe County Recreation Services offers six outdoor pools
located throughout Buncombe County:
