On-the-Job
Training
|
|
This program can significantly reduce your costs in
hiring and training qualified workers. It works
like this:
-
Applicants are pre-screened
and matched to your specific needs.
-
You interview and make
your own selection from a group of motivated applicants.
-
Based on information you
provide on the training process, we write a training
plan.
-
There is little to no paperwork
for you to keep up with, we'll take care of that.
-
We reimburse your company
for 50% of the worker's wages during training.

Skills
Testing
|
|
We have two outstanding assessments to help you determine
if applicants have the skills required for jobs you
need to fill:
-
Pre-Valuate is a
computer program that measures a person's skill
level with a specific computer software program,
math, spelling, data entry, and keyboarding speed.
Once the test is completed, results are displayed
in a graphic bar chart format. Information
provided includes percent correct and interpretive
descriptions that identify if the person's skills
fall into the Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced categories.
Some of the software programs assessed include recent
versions of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Access
and PowerPoint, WordPerfect, Lotus, PhotoShop, Quattro
Pro, and Quark Express.
-
CareerScope is a
computerized assessment of interests and aptitudes.
The interest assessment identifies which jobs a
person would be happiest in and the aptitude assessment
determines whether the person has the skills to
do that type of job. The aptitudes measured
fall into these categories: General Learning,
Verbal Aptitude, Numerical Aptitude, Spatial Aptitude,
Form Perception, Clerical Perception, Motor Coordination,
Finger Dexterity, and Manual Dexterity. Your
applicants don't have to complete the entire assessment.
We can work with you to determine which aptitudes
are most important in the jobs you have available,
then customize the assessment to test those aptitudes
only.
