Health Promotion

Health Promotion Services provide prevention strategies in worksites, schools, community settings, and clinical settings. Our professional Community Health Educators encourage and promote healthy lifestyles by providing education, training, consultation, and support for healthy behaviors. Health Educators also coordinate programs and provide technical assistance in implementing community health standards and policies.

The Health Promotion services and programs are paid for by various sources including: grants, from county, state and federal agencies, contracts with schools, worksites and state agencies, fees, private insurance and Medicaid.
