Items Banned from NC Landfills Effective October 1, 2009

Begining October 1, 2009, items are banned from being disposed of in any North Carolina Landfill:
- Plastic Bottles
- Oil Filters
- Wood Pallets
These items must now be recycled. Please refer to the our recycling page for more information on how you can get started recycling these items.
