Campaign Reporting
The Buncombe County Board of Elections is responsible for the timely reporting and housing of all political campaigns which are collecting and expending funds of greater than $3,000. All reports maintain an active status until the time a final (or zero balance) report is filed. Once a report becomes inactive, it will be housed for a period of five years after which it will be properly disposed of according to General Statute.
