Throughout the year, Asheville GreenWorks and other community partners gather together for important Hard 2 Recycle events. It's an opportunity for the community to recycle, as the name says, harder to recycle household items that aren't accepted by most recyclers. The next Hard 2 Recycle event is taking place on Saturday, June 17th at Arvato Digital, 108 Monticello Road in Weaverville from 10am - 2pm. There's a great list of all the recyclables that are accepted on Asheville GreenWorks website. If you're interesting in volunteering for the event, they're always looking for more enviro-friendly citizens to give them a hand.
