The next downtown after 5 is coming up, so if you love great local music, food, and craft drinks, come on down to North Lexington Avenue for a fun Friday Evening of all three.
It’s taking place on Friday, August 19th from 5pm – 9pm and is presented by Prestige Subaru. The headliner for this Downtown After 5 is Asheville All-Stars, with an opening act provided by the Asheville Music School and LEAF Delta Jazz Band. Every event donates money to a local charity or non-profit, and this month’s is, fittingly, the Asheville Music School. To purchase alcohol you must buy a $2 wristband, and proceeds from those wristband sales go towards the music school. They offer private music lessons, group classes, and ensemble opportunities for all ages and skill levels.
