If you’re a teacher looking for a fun learning activity for your class, check out RiverLink’s K-12 Watershed Education Program. It’s a great way to educate and inspire your students to be the next generation of river stewards.
The watershed education program will focus on the French Broad River ecology, student engagement in scientific investigation, science as a link to personal decision-making, water quality and quantity, environmental awareness and stewardship, and much more! RiverLink will provide trained and experienced staff and volunteers, in-class lessons, field trips to local streams, lesson materials, and a lot of fun and educational lesson plans.
For more information about the K-12 Watershed Education program, contact RiverLink Education Coordinator Laura Evans at 828.252.8474 (extension 18), you can also email her at laura@riverlink.org.
