If you’re a fan of the Colburn Earth Science Museum, they’re going to hold a celebration of their current location’s closing next month. It won’t be for long, though, they’re having their big move to the Well Fargo Building in downtown Asheville later this year.
The museum closing party is taking place on Sunday, August 21 at their current location in downtown Asheville. Be sure to stop by and say goodbye to your favorite oldie, but goodie exhibits. Exhibits like Fossils of the Deep, the Hall of Minerals, the Grove Stone Earth Center, the History of Mining in North Carolina, the beautiful gemstone gallery, and the meteorology and climatology exhibit!
