MANNA Food Bank is a fantastic local non-profit agency whose goal is to provide domestic hunger relief in our area. They have a huge food storage facility that you can help fill up year round. In fact, the facility is so large that they're hosting a Blue Jean Ball there coming up. It will feature a not-so-silent auction, music, and small tastings from 20 of Asheville's finest restaurants. Best part, every dollar raised or donated to the food bank provides enough food for three meals!
It will be held on Saturday, June 4th at MANNA Food Bank. The theme for the year is Fire and Ice. Ticket holders will enjoy small tasting plates from:
- Biltmore
- Chestnut
- Cantina at Biltmore Village
- Lobster Trap
- Red Stag Grill
- Chai Pani
- The French Broad Chocolate Lounge
- and more!
The amazing not-so-silent auction is held during the ball with over 100 fabulous items and packages to choose from, including:
- Vacation packages
- Signed Carolina basketball
- Diamond necklace
- Gift Baskets
- and Restaurant packages
