On Saturday, March 1, 2014, Buncombe County Parks and Recreation Services will host the 5th Annual Healthy Parks, Healthy You 5K Fun Run/Walk. The race starts at 10:30 a.m. and is open to adults and children of all ages.
The race will take place on the Buncombe County Sports Park track. Advance registration is available by mail. The mail-in registration form is attached below.
Registration is available through the day of the race--registrations received after February 15 will not be guaranteed a t-shirt. Check in and late registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $12 for adults and $7 for children ages 4 - 15.
Walkers are welcome to bring baby joggers to this event, but for the safety of our walkers and runners, no dogs or bikes are permitted on the track during race time.
The Buncombe County Sports Park is located in Candler.
