Please help provide new books for disadvantaged children in our community. Beginning November 12, visit the Oakley/South Asheville Branch Library and select a gift card with pertinent information about a child (gender, grade/reading level, a special interest). Purchase a book ($10 minimum retail value) and return it to the Oakley Library by December 17. Or, donate $10 and the Friends of the Oakley Library will do the shopping for you.
Since our first Giving Tree in 2000, we have provided books to over 1500 local children. Your participation will insure the continued success of this project.
