Join us for a cool walk in the park to see birds and other wildlife in their natural habitat on this guided tour. The 10-acre Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary is managed by the Elisha Mitchell Audubon Society, attracts waterfowl (especially after storms), migrating species, and a nice array of breeding birds.
We are accepting up to 20 people to join us for a morning of bird watching at the Sanctuary which is located off Merrimon Avenue in North Asheville.
We'll meet at in the parking lot of the Sanctuary on Saturday, October 12 at 8 a.m. This event is free to the public, so bring your binoculars and join us for a morning of birding!
