It's Hot Here, But It's Hotter in Iraq!
Last Week to Donate for the Troops!

Drop of donations to send to the troops during Christmas in July! Many of us here in Western North Carolina are suffering in the heat. Did you know that the average temperature in Baghdad, Iraq for the last few weeks is 116°F?

Help us show our men and women in uniform that we are appreciate them. It doesn't have to cost you any money - a card or hand-written note is Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil! Stay Focused!much appreciated!

Items can be dropped off through July 31 at any of the branch libraries. County offices and several businesses throughout the community are also collecting items. Visit buncombecounty.org/troops for a complete list of items needed and drop-off locations.

The items will be boxed and shipped with the help of Operation Care Package and Old Dominion Freight Lines and will be delivered to our troops in time for Christmas.
