Last Week to Donate for the Troops!
Many of us here in Western North Carolina are suffering in the heat. Did you know that the average temperature in Baghdad, Iraq for the last few weeks is 116°F?

Items can be dropped off through July 31 at any of the branch libraries. County offices and several businesses throughout the community are also collecting items. Visit buncombecounty.org/troops for a complete list of items needed and drop-off locations.
The items will be boxed and shipped with the help of Operation Care Package and Old Dominion Freight Lines and will be delivered to our troops in time for Christmas.
