Get Your New Prescription Drug Savings Card - Free!

The Buncombe County Commissioners and Financial Marketing Concepts Inc. (FMC)  have made available a new prescription drug discount program.  

The new program allows all County residents, regardless of income, age or health status to participate in the program. Citizens can save an average of 38 percent on the cost of prescription drugs. Even pets and family members living outside the County are able to take part in the program. 

The card is free and may be used at all pharmacy chains and most independent pharmacies in Buncombe County. It includes over 60,000 drugs in its formulary.

There are no eligibility requirements to use the drug card  and the plan will come at NO expense to Buncombe County.

Besides the discounts on prescriptions, the card also provides substantial discounts for lab and imaging tests so uninsured and under-insured residents will be able to save even more money on their health care costs.

The card is available at participating pharmacies, in all County offices and branch libraries or you can print it online at coast2coastrx.com/buncombenc.
