• Adult Services - The Adult Services mission is to provide protective and supportive social work services which enhance the independence, dignity and right to self-determination of elderly and disabled adults.
• Senior Activities - Senior Sightseers is a program for citizens of Buncombe County age 50 and older. Several trips are planned for July 1 - December 31, 2003. For more information please call Buncombe County Parks & Recreation Services at (828) 250-4260.
• Veterans - Buncombe County's Veterans Affairs department serves Buncombe County’s veterans and their families with dignity and compassion, while being their principal advocate in ensuring that they receive medical care, benefits, social support, and lasting memorials promoting the health, welfare, and dignity in recognition of their service to this Nation.
