Buncombe County's Recreation Services is looking for volunteer gardeners at the Sand Hill Community Garden. Volunteering at a community garden is a great way to build friendships and help provide fresh vegetables for those in need.
For those who are interested but have little gardening experience, don't sweat it! There are plenty of experienced volunteer gardeners who can teach you all about gardening.
