Dollywood Players Present "One Cool Friend" @ Local Libraries

Dollywood’s Penguin Players return to Buncombe County Public Libraries in May! This year's musical production, Tony Buzzeo's “One Cool Friend,” brings us the delightful antics that result when young Elliot takes a penguin home from the aquarium.

“One Cool Friend” is a lively 30-minute production filled with sing-along songs, including music written especially for the Penguin Players by Dolly Parton.

This program is free and best suited to children that are preschool age and up. The schedule of performances are:

  Fairview Library – 3:30 pm
• Wednesday, May 28
  Enka-Candler Library – 10:30 am
  Black Mountain Library – 4 pm
• Thursday, May 29
  West Asheville Library – 11 am
  Weaverville Library – 4 pm** You will need to pick up a free ticket from the library for this show.
• Friday, May 30
  Leicester Library – 11 am
  Bee Tree Fire Department (sponsored by the Swannanoa Library) – 3:30 pm
