Buncombe County Recreation Services will host Adult League Dodge Ball beginning in January and going through February. Sign-ups start on October 12 and end when the maximum number of teams have been reached (8), or on December 28 whichever comes first. Teams consist of 6 players.
Games will be played at the UNC Asheville Justice Center on Tuesday evenings from 6:15 until 9:15 p.m.
The season consists of 9 games, each lasting up to 5 minutes per game for a total of 63 games for the season plus a round robin tournament for all teams.
A soft centered ball will be used. The winning team will receive a plaque to commemorate their accomplishment.
The cost is $225 for a team of 6 or $40 per person. The registration fee includes facility fee and equipment. For information about signing up for this fun sport, call or email Jay Nelson.
