Join the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office at Fatz Café located at 5 Spartan Avenue in Asheville on Saturday, March 21 from 8 - 10 am for Short Stacks for Big Change and help support the Sheriff’s Office On Track Leadership program.
The breakfast includes pancakes, sausage links, maple syrup, butter, mixed fruit, coffee, tea, milk or juice. Adult tickets are $7.00, and children under six eat free, limit one child per paying adult. The On Track Leadership program offers middle school aged children in the Buncombe County School system leadership training and recreational activities for two weeks out of the summer. The kids are nominated by their teachers, school administration and school resource officers. The program is staffed by school resource officers, and provides a time for relationship building and character development.
