Come drive through our winter wonderland at the Lake Julian Park Festival of Lights & help Special Olympics. The drive through show begins on Friday, December 5 & is from 6 - 9 p.m. nightly through December 23. The park is brightly lit with thousands of colored lights & over 50 animated & stationary light displays. The road circling the park becomes a magical journey through tunnels of dazzling lights.
NEW THIS YEAR: A former Disney Imaginer has created an exciting surprise for us! An animated holiday scene will be projected into one of the picnic shelters during the light show!
We will also have our own FM holiday music station that folks can tune their radio to while driving through the show. The music was created by students at Claxton Elementary School.
The cost is $5 for a car, $10 for a van & $25 for a motor coach. A portion of the proceeds are donated to Buncombe County Special Olympics.
