Our very own Buncombe County native Caleb Johnson has made it to the top three in American Idol, and he is bringing the celebration home!

12:45-1:45 p.m. Parade from Jack of the Wood on Patton Avenue down Biltmore Avenue to the Orange Peel, 101 Biltmore Ave.

1:45-2:45 p.m. Orange Peel appearance with local dignitaries. Johnson will likely sing one or two songs. Free, but tickets are no longer available.

7-8:30 p.m. Concert, Emerald Lounge, 112 N. Lexington Ave. First come, first-served.
Johnson and the other two finalists will face off in a live performance show airing at 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 14 on Fox. The top two will be announced on a results show at 9 p.m. Thursday, May 15.
The two winners will then compete for the title of "American Idol" in finals set for May 20-21 at the Nokia Theater in Hollywood.
