Build a Better World

Buncombe County Public Libraries Summer Reading Program 2017

Kids of all ages are invited to Buncombe County Public Library’s Summer Reading program for 2017. Readers are invited to “Build a Better World” with activities that will include crafts, science experiments, books and more.

The 2017 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through teen, with books and activities for every age. The programs are free and open to children of all abilities. Come in and see what the library has for you – four visits and you earn a free book!

Kick off your summer reading at our annual Summer Library Fest at the Oakley Library at 749 Fairview Road. Join us as we build crafts, stories, music and loads of summer fun! The Fest will be held Saturday, June 3 from 10am to noon and everyone is welcome.

To register for Summer Reading, visit your friendly, neighborhood library on or after June 1.
