General Statement of Duties
Assists the Teacher and/or Teacher’s Assistant in meeting the full range of needs of individuals and groups of children from birth through age 5.  

Special Requirements
Must be 18 years old. A current medical examination and TB Test from a licensed physician is required. Must have some experience in working with young children. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must be able to follow the lead of the regular classroom/program staff in order to provide a high quality environment where children can thrive. Must be willing to work flexible hours on an as-needed basis. Duties may include, but are not limited to, assisting children with: diapering, toileting, meal time, engaging in meaningful play both in the classroom and outdoors. 

Minimum Education and Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Some early childhood education coursework is desirable.
