Anything that Floats Parade

Riverlink is a great local non-profit that in its 30 year history completely revitalized the river ways of Buncombe County. They have a great event coming up to celebrate the river called the Anything that Floats Parade. So put on your thinking cap and come up with a wild, wacky, or tacky addition to this great event.

It's taking place on Saturday, August 26. Judges will select a winner in each of four categories: most creative, Green Machine (best use of recycled materials), funniest, and Judges' Choice. The Anything that Floats Parade is a feature event of Riverfest 2017, held at the takeout for the parade. Riverfest 2017 will be located at 144 Riverside Drive, at the Riverlink Sculpture and Performance Plaza from 1 - 7 pm.

The festival will feature live music, local craft drinks, food trucks, and more! The best part? Admission to the festival is free! For more information about Riverlink, the Riverfest, or the Anything that Floats Parade, visit riverlink.org. You can also give them a call at 828.252.8474.
