Author Brian Lawrence, a long-standing firefighter who is currently serving as engineer and historian for Asheville Fire Department, will present an engaging program showcasing and honoring our local firefighters who have always worked to keep our communities safe.
Information from his recently published book, Firefighting in Buncombe County, will be offered as Lawrence presents the distinctive stories from the past that shape the character of the community today.
