Buncombe County Election Services wants you to know 4 important details about the upcoming November 8th General Elections:
- Early voting will begin on Thursday, October 20th. You can vote early at any of the available early voting locations. Not all locations will open on October 20th, so check out the schedule of voting locations attached at the bottom of this article for specific times. Early voting will last until Saturday, November 5th at 5:00PM.
- If you want to vote absentee for the November election, you have to fill out an absentee ballot request form (*even if you filled one out for the Primary Elections). The form is due at Election Services Tuesday, November 1st.
- If you want to check out what the sample ballot looks like, they are now available through the NC Public Voter Information Site. While you're there, you may want to check that your voter information is up-to-date (name, address, etc.)
- On Election Day, Tuesday, November 8th, you MUST vote at your designated voting location. Voting hours will be 6:30AM - 7:30PM. If you are in line at 7:30PM that evening, you will still be eligible to vote. You can find your designated voting location at buncombecounty.org/vote.
