  • The next meeting of the Board of Commissioners will be August 21, 2007 beginning at 4 p.m. in pre-session and at 4:30 for official meeting.
  • At least three members of the Board of Commissioners will be attending the Annual Meeting of the Economic Development Commission on August 15 from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Chamber Board Room at the Asheville Chamber of Commerce in downtown Asheville.
  • The Commissioners will be attending the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners' Conference from August 16-19 in Cumberland County where Commissioner David Young will be sworn in as President of the statewide association
